1. Who we are
This website, theblackstarfestival.com, is run by GD Visionary Group Ltd (“we”, “us”), the organiser of the Black Star Festival and of Black Star Christmas, held with the National Commission on Culture.

By using this website or buying a voucher, you agree to these terms.
2. The event
Black Star Christmas takes place on 23 and 24 December 2026 at Efua Sutherland Children’s Park, Accra. Entry is free.
The programme, performers and vendors may change. We’ll post any changes on the schedule. A change to the programme is not a reason for a refund.
3. What we sell
We sell vouchers: prepaid credit to spend with vendors inside Black Star Christmas, on food, drinks, crafts and activities.
- Voucher cards of GHS 100, GHS 500 and GHS 1,000, sold at select outlets.
- Virtual vouchers bought on this website, for any amount from GHS 100 to GHS 10,000, for yourself or as a gift.
Prices are in Ghana cedis (GHS) and match the value of the voucher. There is no booking fee from us. Your bank or card issuer may charge its own fees for foreign or card payments.
4. Payment
Online payments are processed by Paystack. Your card or mobile money details go straight to Paystack and are never seen or stored by us. A purchase is complete when Paystack confirms the payment.
5. Delivery
Virtual vouchers are sent by email to the address given at checkout, or to the recipient you name when sending a gift. They usually arrive within minutes and always within 24 hours. If yours hasn’t arrived, check your spam folder, then contact us and we’ll resend it.
Please check the email address before you pay. We aren’t responsible for a voucher sent to an address you typed incorrectly, but we’ll help you recover it if it hasn’t been spent.
6. Using a voucher
- Vouchers are the only way to pay vendors inside the festival. Cash and mobile money aren’t accepted at the stalls.
- A voucher is valid for Black Star Christmas 2026 only, on 23 and 24 December 2026. Any credit left after the festival expires.
- Vouchers can’t be exchanged for cash, and unspent credit isn’t paid out.
- Treat your voucher like cash. Anyone holding it can spend it. Lost or stolen voucher cards can’t be replaced. A lost virtual voucher can be resent to the original email address.
- Vouchers may not be resold for profit. We may cancel a voucher that has been copied, altered or obtained by fraud.
7. Refunds
Vouchers are final sale. You’re entitled to a full refund if the festival is cancelled or postponed, or if you were charged by mistake. See our refund policy.
8. Vendors
Vendors trade under a separate agreement with us. Each vendor is responsible for the goods it sells, including their quality, safety and any permits they need. Questions about a purchase from a vendor should go to that vendor first; we’ll help where we can.
9. At the festival
- Entry is subject to space and safety. We, the venue or security staff may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who puts others at risk.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- The festival may be photographed and filmed for publicity. By attending you agree that you may appear in these images.
- Please look after your belongings. We aren’t responsible for lost or damaged personal property, except where the law says we are.
10. This website
The words, images, logos and designs on this website belong to us or our partners. Please don’t copy them for commercial use without asking. We work to keep the site accurate and available, but can’t promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions.
11. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the laws of Ghana or any liability that can’t legally be limited. Otherwise, our liability to you for a voucher is limited to the amount you paid for it.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the version in force when you bought a voucher applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
